Our holiday home for 2 to 6 people was built with natural materials and overlooks the surrounding meadows and woods. In the middle of the Ourthe Superior, a natural park where the Ourthe flows, you can go hiking, mountain biking, kayaking or simply enjoy the view of meadows, forests and charming valleys.

Allongueroye, the old Walloon name of the land on which the holiday home is built, means "the long road". It is located near tourist attractions such as La Roche, Houffalize, Achouffe and Bastogne.

About us

We are Patrick and May B, originally from Kapellen/Brasschaat, Belgium. We have spent many holidays ourselves in the La Roche–Houffalize–Bastogne triangle, and have since moved to the region. We are still amazed by the beautiful countryside, the lovely spots and villages, and the friendly people in this area. In 2011, we had a low-energy timber-frame shell house built, which we finished ourselves. After two years, our house was ready and the result is something to be proud of. It is a contemporary chalet-style home with a warm, homely feel, where you’ll soon feel right at home...
